You probably believe that in a 'democracy', anyone can become a leader. As did I. But it seems many US presidents, British PMs, royalty, big business and government heads are related. Not surprising, you may say, but the lack of prominent people who are not part of these 'bloodlines' is notable.

Huffington Post: Obama cousins with Brad Pitt, Hillary cousins with Angelina Jolie (what it doesn't mention is that he and Hillary are also cousins, meaning that Brangelina were already related before they met...)

Other Obama cousins: Ronald Reagan, Queen Elizabeth II, Jimmy Carter, the wife of Harry Truman, Jefferson Davis (Confederate President during the American Civil War). I'm too lazy to source them, so google any of those if you don't believe me.
