European Elections May 2009

I'd rather these elections didn't happen. Not because I am against choosing leaders, or because I don't want to vote, but because I would rather we had nothing to do with the European structure of government. We must get out of the EU before it gulps down the remainder of our sovereignty and finishes it off with a side of biometricised cashless society. (Does that mean depopulation is for dessert? hehe)

(Image: American, but applies to any 'democracy' today. The false choice between two or more parties with the same long-term agenda has proved a great success for the establishment.)

So, with that in mind, I voted for the UK Independence Party. Secession, baby. I don't agree with them on everything, and they don't touch the real problem of central banks, but then who does, save for the Libertarians.

UKIP in my mind were the best ones running. Not that I would vote for the 'lesser of two evils' (that's how left-right enslavement works!), but I don't see them as an evil. Meh.

Do I think we will see some great change in Brussels as a result? That would be like a wife expecting her abusive husband to change *this* time. Like Neville Chamberlain hoping that Hitler was satisfied with his borders *this* time. I considered not voting. But, I guess, voting for anyone who'll work to remove the system's control from the inside is better than nothing. Again, nobody can change the system, we can only reduce its influence on us all, or better still, leave it completely.

As for "If you don't vote, don't complain":
Sometimes not voting is the highest form of complaint at the system. I would rather not vote than support any of the corporate slavery parties the TV tells me I am permitted to like.

Following on from what I wrote recently about democracy; when democracy is in distress, you can be sure liberty has already bled out a long time ago.
