The Economic Nuke (but when?)

While a lot of people are saying the economic implosion is deliberate, and of course to an extent they're right, I shrink from the idea that anyone is remotely in control of the unholy tidal wave of debt and worthless Ponzi assets that must surely fall at some point. I think behind their stony facades our friendly financial overlords are crapping themselves at the size of the monster they've created.

The only thing holding back the reckoning is the flood of more electronic made up assets designed to 'bail out' the previous worthless made up assets. Now I'm hardly an economist, but you don't have to be one to figure out the current setup is unsustainable for any long period of time.

But we come back to the same question, how long? Is it possible that we could still be asking the same question in twenty years, or will the reckoning unfold in twenty days? And when it does, will it be accompanied by a major war (Iran-China) as cover? Kind of apocalyptic...but of course it doesn't have to be like that...

"What would happen if they declare a war and no-one turns up???"
