Archaeologists are uncovering, under what today are green hillsides, what they say are ancient pyramids, constructed of a 'concrete-like material'. I am intrigued and will wait to see what they find. Could be a remarkable discovery if indeed it is true.This isn't Egypt. This is Bosnia!
Bosnian Pyramid Excavation This Summer
I came across these about a year ago but refuse to get exited until some major excavation takes place. They do fire up the imagination however!
ReplyDeleteThe main detail that stands out to me is that the people living there at the time of its alleged construction 3000 yrs ago, are said to have been hunter gatherers only; hardly capable of such a feat it would seem.

Wow, unsurprisingly I didn't hear anything about these pyramids in the mainstream news, although I haven't actually watched television for close to 8 months now.

Well maybe, but there are other possibilities. I was listening to the archaeologist behind this (radio interview at the bottom of the link above) and he says that it's possible that advanced human civilisation could have existed but then been destroyed in the 'great flood' (end of the ice age)...still think the aliunz thing makes more sense...
