"Give me a stage, chuck some sand on it and I'll land you on the moon" (LOL, word for word that's what he said, well OK perhaps with a few expletives in there)Another brought up the infamous fluttering flag...now I could have been a know-it-all at this point and interrupted, explaining that the flag thing isn't conclusive one way or the other and there are better points of suspicion regarding the moon landings, the chief one being that we haven't been back in 40 years and nobody thought to do something on the Moon surface that we could see (in a telescope of course) from Earth! Like, a flare? Something? And where are the original better quality NASA tapes of the mission? 'Lost'. (oops...coincidence)
But I don't think they would have appreciated the interruption.
Nonetheless, there was no cognitive dissonance. Nobody laughed at the loony who thought the moon landings were a hoax. It seems, the further people get immersed in the academic system, the more their thought processes are milled to fit the machine's standards, they (despite in many ways being more 'clever') lose their peripheral vision so to speak, and they can't handle even considering anything like this as even a possiblility. And thus the credible questions about this and a whole host of other controversies are cast aside without real critical analysis.
Some people, it seems, are to an extent 'awake' to the nature of the system (perhaps they've been on the wrong end of it?), and those people are in some ways much more intelligent than their academic counterparts. Just my opinion based on experience.

I think you are correct on the "being shit on everyday" keeps you awake to the big scam. Just like you'll never find an eating disorder in a famine. "Oooh I can't eat the food aid I'm lactose intolerrant". Hybrids are precious.
BTW whilst we were watching the moonlanding, or not, THEY landed in Cockfosters and haven't left. Good boozers there. A rescue mission is on the way.
Each civilisation has it's problems with this kind of stuff! :-)
