I Thought I Recognised Rothschild's Historian

With all the discussion of Niall Ferguson, I thought that name was familiar. The War Of The World: A New History Of The 20th Century was a favourite of mine back when I relied on TV and what little I could choke out of the school system for education. Just the other day it occurred to me whose show it was.

If you're interested and have the time (6x50mins) the series can be viewed here: 1 2 3 4 5 6

Rated R for Rothschild. ;)

Sort of halfway between the crap version of history most people think they know, and the truth. Although it's still heaving with propaganda I actually owe a little to that series. There are several points where Ferguson shows us London et al intervening in things that have nothing to do with them, but of course he very quickly passes over these moments. The discerning viewer however can fill in the blanks and see the hidden hands.

It had never occurred to me that the Communists, for instance, were just as bad as Nasty Germany, who killed for no reason other than to maintain Aryan Supremacy. I mean, yeah, a lot of people died in Commie Russia, younger AdamS reasoned, but it was because they were trying to implement a new ideal that would bring about equality and end anti-Semitism. Sadly it went badly wrong because Communist ideals were so pure that imperfect fallen humans are simply not ready for them, and we'd better settle for moderate redistributive democracy instead.

Ohhhhhh you better believe that was me.

I wonder how many of today's lefties think like that.

I wonder how many would admit to thinking like that.
