See, this older fellow thought he could trust the police, and asked them to keep an eye on his house while he was away.
Only problem: he said he was concerned about Lithuanian squatters.
Now this may be completely justified, but it's not politically correct, so he is accused of racism. Which, as we all know is, after terrorism, the most dangerous thing in existence, that we should give up freedom for.
Frankfurterschule.
This reminded me of the whole 'racial profiling' thing in America over Mexican immigration. Um...there are supposedly 10 or 20 million illegal Mexican immigrants, I mean if you're looking for illegal immigrants in the USA who are you going to look at. Bingo! You bloody genius! Pat yourself on the back, you vile racial profiler. Insanity.
As for the police, the only time I ever 'needed' them was when my bike was stolen (I was about 10), and frankly they looked more eager to get out of our house and have some Diddy Donuts, or get back to their Blue Lodge, or whatever it is they do.
Unless you're dying, or someone else is dying, don't involve the police; they're just as likely to have a little fun with you as they are with criminals.

Given the content above, I guess you could replace the word 'kick' with anything that you think would be appropriate...
There are good police no doubt, but they are a minority, and kept so by the police hierachy. All those Cop TV shows train you to view the police as benevolent masters. Mostly lies, unless there is someone else more immediately dangerous than the police, which let's be honest is rare.
Yes, I agree, political correctness is getting out of control, especially in the UK. Jusst too many 'do'gooders' doing good for the wrong causes. If a man is concerned about people squatting into his property, I think he has every right to be concerned. Also, in certain areas, there are certain types of people doing the squatting. This whole squatting thing needs to be addressed as well. If he were to come home and find people in his home and went berserk, the same police would come along to arrest him. Sometimes, this place can really be a joke.
ReplyDeleteHow about we scrap political correctness and let people say what they have to say.
I think that man should just get a house sitter or something.
Someone burned my fence down, went to the police, they said there are no witnesses and no evidence of who did it, so case closed. Amazing isn't it.
These days they are more concerned with 'revenue collection'. If you drop litter or drive too fast, then they'll be there immediately. It's just not in their interest to stop real crime.
