The ONLY source for the alleged "anti-Semitic" remark, is ONE photographer. And that one person's unsupported, unsubstantiated anecdote, is enough to go right to the front of the Mail's story, as if tons of students were out with swastikas. A story that would otherwise have to talk about real issues related to austerity etc.

Now you know fine well how I feel about calling a spade a spade. I'm not bothered if some student criticised the "Tory Jew Scum" in such a direct manner. I'm not about to recoil in horror. But the average person has been trained to do just that, and that's why the report opens with that 'alleged' (and to be honest, probably made up) remark.
I believe this is called 'framing the debate'.
More COINTELPRO.

No hatecrime or assault (for the spitting) charges pressed. Charges require evidence. Did they ever come up with the video of the incident? Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think that was the case where there was no video. I couldn't find one. All the CCTV, the police, and fellow protestors who may have recorded it, but no video. Probably just made that up too. Well it gets headlines and discredits people, doesn't it?
