Gerald Celente of the Trends Research Institute forecasts the 'worst economic collapse ever' and suggests there will be another revolution in America, starting with tax revolts.
Celente is no loudmouth gloom-and-doomer, his publication has been by all accounts pretty accurate at predicting events over the last 20 years. Its predictions for 2009 include:
The Revolution
It's unprecedented. There is nothing like it in the history of the United States. No week goes by without the Government buying into or buying up another failing "too big to fail" using taxpayer money. In the process, a super-race of corporate giants is being created that will be declared "too big to tumble." It is a matter of historical fact: When people are homeless, helpless, desperate, jobless and hungry, sooner or later they will rebel. And it won’t be any different in America.....
Will the docile TV watchers really revolt? I can't answer that one. Hopefully, though, if it does come to that, the police and military will side with the populace rather than the tyrannical establishment.
