Britons Never Shall Be Slaves

Has to be one of history's finest examples of extended irony...

Slave Labour Comes to UK Prisons

This is from weeks ago, guess I missed it, lol. but it's an important story.

The logical conclusion of this is the return of slavery. It's one thing to have a prison racket where increasing the number of inmates (usually for spurious things like drug possession) makes more profits for the corporate owned prisons, who are not free market enterprises but receive their funding from the state/taxpayer. That is bad enough.

But if we have a new 'prison industrial complex' where there is a much, much bigger profit incentive for the state-corporate tag team to lock more and more people behind bars, then the sky is the limit. Casino Gulag, indeed Mr Keiser. Why do you think the goods from China are so cheap? Just what is a sweatshop anyway?

Now I am quite aware that you may be thinking, what the hell are our prisoners capable of making? Although to be fair they are very industrious with drugs. But the point is, if corporations get access to involuntary servants, the potential for corruption is imaginable.

This is an obvious gateway to labour camps. Work, after all, makes you free.
