Times Online: We need a blubber tax
Overweight people cost the health service a colossal amount. We should hit them in the wallet
They got it the wrong way around. The ostensible purpose of nationalised healthcare is to guarantee treatment to everyone at the expense of everyone. And there are arguments for and against this. But what is happening, is the government has got all self-righteous and controlling...
"We gave you this great system [by seizing your money at gunpoint if necessary]. And you won't live your life in such a way as to conform to our service's needs? Heresy! Be grateful for your great healthcare system!"

Healthcare isn't something I have thought about lately. But since coming to the realisation that government and the elite of the world are pure evil and are out to enslave us and depopulate the planet, I guess there is no way I could be in favour of placing government at the helm of the medical system.
EDIT: What did I write! Government is not 'pure evil' on a par with the elite, rather the evil has hijacked govt, via the global bankers. Never mind.

Well considering that people who get drunk cost the NHS £2.9 billion a year and smokers cost the NHS £2 billion a year and drug users cost the NHS £2.1 billion a year, i think that overweight people are not the problem.
i think we should have a kickin azz tax so we can kick peoples azz that writes stuff like this
