Definitely, as I come across anything of interest relating to things mentioned within, I shall share them here, because really if we do not know where we have come from, how can we know where we are going?

Hi, I am a regular reader of your blog from Ireland. I must however add that the stone in the picture clearly has Ogham markings on the left-hand side. This was an ancient Irish alphabet in use between 400AD and 1000AD. The carbon dating (if that was indeed the method used) must be incorrect. The cross and the style used to draw the wolf underneath would also be from the 1st millenium AD.
Thanks for the insight Craig, perhaps the markings were added later. Not an expert on Irish culture myself :)
You may be right, they might have been added later. I'm not sure. Even if it isn't from the BC era, Ireland still has Newgrange - a sophisticated measuring device/monument older than the Egyptian pyramids.
